Tiki Tags | 3D Printed Bag Tags with Pāua Eyes

Our Tiki Tags started with a pretty simple idea. My kids were heading off to school with Pikachu, Avengers and all sorts of characters hanging off their school bags, and I thought, why not Māori-fy this a little?

I wanted to create something distinctly Māori, but with a cute, playful twist.

Taking a bit of inspiration from those waving lucky cats you see in shops, along with chubby little Buddha Atua figures, I started experimenting with a few ideas in Nomad Sculpt.

After plenty of playing around with shapes, expressions and proportions within a fantastic app called nomad sculpt design, our little Tiki Tags came to life!

Each Tiki Tag is 3D printed and finished with pāua shell eyes, giving every little character a bit of extra personality.
